Hi, I’m Rob — a lettering artist based in Austin with a love for bright colors, geometric design, and playful phrases. My work blends traditional sign painting and calligraphy, often using vintage mirrors and picture frames as my canvas. What started as an obsession with handwriting grew into a full-blown passion for the artistry of letterforms, and over the years I’ve studied with masters like Lianne Barker and Mike Meyer to hone my craft.

Though sign painting has its roots in commercial art, I’m more drawn to using it as a form of self-expression — a way to bring joy, humor, and beauty into everyday spaces. When I’m not in the studio, you can probably find me soaking up inspiration from my creative community here in Austin or playing the bass guitar.
